We're pleased to announce that the Valetto Smart Repair module has officially launched. Built for mobile-first technicians working across multiple dealership sites, it handles everything from the morning job list through to end-of-month payroll — without a spreadsheet or paper invoice in sight.
How it works
Each morning, technicians travel to their assigned site and open Valetto on their mobile. They log the day's work — which vehicles need bodywork, what each repair involves, and the cost of each individual item. Everything is captured on-device from the moment they arrive.
At the end of the day, the dealership manager reviews the completed work and signs it off. This can be done directly on the technician's phone on-site, or independently through the manager's own Valetto login — whichever is more convenient.
Invoicing and payroll, handled automatically
At the end of each month, the system generates statements covering every dealership the business has serviced. These are pushed automatically to FreeAgent or other supported accounting integrations, so there's no manual data entry and no chasing outstanding approvals.
Payroll is calculated at the same time. Each member of staff can log in to their own Valetto account to view their payslip — no separate payroll portal, no PDFs emailed around.
Live site map
The Valetto dashboard now includes a live map showing exactly which sites your technicians are checked in at, updated in real time throughout the day. At a glance, managers can see who is where and how the day's schedule is progressing.
